Custom Home Purchase Process:
Since many of our Clients have never purchased a new, custom home, they often view the process as an overwhelming and uncertain procedure. We believe that by familiarizing our Clients with the process up front, we can remove the uncertainty and make the building of your home an enjoyable and exciting experience.
The Custom Home Purchase Process creates a structured framework within which the Client will design their new home. Simply stated, it is a guide that allows the Client to understand and efficiently look at what is needed to build their new, custom home. By utilizing a series of six steps, we hope to lead the Client through the design process and encourage their participation and input.
Specifically, the Custom Home Purchase Process is based on a series of 6 steps.
Step 1. Initial Consultation
Step 2. Plan Orientation and Client Preference
Step 3. Bid Presentation or Budget Review
Step 4. Contract Documents and Warranty Policy
Step 5. The Construction of Your New Home
Step 6. Homeowner Walk Through and Warranty
Through the six-step process, we hope to meet each client’s individual preferences and goals to the fullest extent. Each scheduled meeting is designed to cover specific topics in a structured framework; however, we respect the need for flexibility, and understand that this process will vary somewhat with each home. We welcome additionally scheduled meetings as required. Therefore, while certain goals have been established for each meeting, the time is yours, and any question, inquiry, or comment is welcomed.
